Designer Maker
'Designer-maker' is a term which most of the members here would use to describe themselves. It concisely describes what they do, and highlights the fact that they both design and make. This will have a varying degree of significance - from those who believe that the best designs come from those who are directly masters of their medium, to those for whom making their own designs is simply a pleasure, habit or convenience.
