Ed Pot
Ed Pot has always appreciated the skill and work of the traditional craftsman. Based in east Ed has built up an reputation internationally as a maker, who uses traditional craft skills, to create stylish contemporary pieces. His work retains the quality of traditional furniture and reflects modern movements in design. Ed originally trained as an industrial designer and had a varied career before finally setting up a workshop as a full time furniture maker. Ed likes to use local timber where possible and makes most pieces to commission for a specific location or individual. Ed is very keen to involve his clients in the design of his work. His recent projects have include a King size bed, a made to measure chair and an unusual board room table for a German company.
