Fine Edge Designs
Fine Edge Designs is headed up by Colin Morrell, who graduated from the prestigious ‘Parnham College’ in 1999. Parnham College in was one of the leading woodworking and design schools in the UK, and was set up by John Makepeace, OBE – a furniture designer of worldwide acclaim.
While at Parnham, Colin was awarded the annual ‘Smallpeice’ prize for design excellence for his ‘Of Bridge’ table design. This award-winning design was featured in several publications, including Blue Print, World of Interiors, Living Etc and Marie Claire, and can be found in the furniture gallery.
After graduating, Colin set up a small workshop in London’s East End, which he shared with other Parnham graduates, from which he designed and produced one-off pieces of furniture for both private and corporate clients. Colin then went on to set up a small bespoke furniture and accessories workshop in West Sussex, with an ex-tutor of Parnham College. They manufactured kitchens, fitted wardrobes and handcrafted furniture, as well as batch items such as church pews, tables, boxes and candlesticks.
Colin is a Freeman of the Worshipful Company Of Furniture Makers and following a move to London, now runs Fine Edge Designs from which he and his team continue to design, manufacture and install bespoke freestanding and fitted furniture.
