With over 14 years experience as a , James specialises in bespoke cabinetry and free standing furniture.
Handmade furniture or cabinetry is a lasting and unique expression which compliments any home or office space by adding value, warmth and functionality.
As an experienced and committed craftsman working predominately in timber and veneer finishes, James brings together contemporary styling with traditional methods of making. However it is not unusual for James to be involved in more diverse projects using a variety of materials.
The basis of his work is focused on attention to detail and he takes great satisfaction in both fulfilling the client's specification and guiding design to meet individual budgets.
Previous clients include: The Guardian Newspaper, Opera North Leeds, York St Johns University, Leeds Media Centre, ELFM, Mottosound, architectural practices, and private clients.
James currently lives and has a workshop in Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK.
